In several of the farm books, probate records, and other books and materials I've found at the National Archives, probate inventory lists include a book titled "Taarepersen." I've searched through the National Library, Archives, Google, Internet Archives, Gutenberg, etc., and failing to find such a book from the 1600-1700s. I do find the comedie books by Ludwig Baron af Holberg include mention of that name, but the word isn't in the title. I've found other books listed in the inventories, much to my delight, but not this.
For example:
"...Vidare gild husbundad (møblar) og mykje gang- og sengklær. Men are 3 bøker: Møllers Huuspostil, Den Bedendes Kiede og Taarepersen. Vidare hadde dom ei ku Rosenlind, ein vaksen sau med lam...
Note, there are three books, not two as implied without the use of the Oxford comma.
Thanks, I appreciate your help.
