Can someone tell me what the word 'Logerende' means when it is used in the entry for Familiestatus?

It means the person was a 'lodger', and most likely did not belong to the family.

Hi, I have found several people in my family from the censuses that are marked as 'el' (enslig losjerer, single lodger) or 'pleiebarn' (fosterchild). After some research I found out that they where living with their grandparents on their mother side. It has turned out that their parents was not married, and their mother have emigrated to the US after she gave birth. So there is absolutly a possibility that it could be a 'family link'... :-)Jan
