Does anyone have any information on Hans Johannesen Hougseie married Anne Gndbrandsdatter. They are supposedly from Gran-Jevnaker Oppland area. Children: Gina Olive-b. July 16, 1875 Mary b. April 23, 1883 Karen Clara b. Feb 22, 1871 or 1872 (This is my GG Grandmother. She married Johannes Iverson, Kristian Skoien, Ernest Dolphin.Karen Clara and her parents/siblings came to America around 1876. They came to Castle Rock, WI and then continued on to Fosston, MN. Hans Johannesen Hougseie and Anne Gudbrandsdatter Hougseie,married Nov.4, 1871 Gran. He was born Dec.11, 1846 Hornseie in Land. Father:Johannes Hansen. She was born April 23, 1848 Gran.Father Gurbrand Gudbrandsen. Two children: Karen Hansdatter b.March 22, bapt. May 20, 1872 Hougseie, Gran. Olave Hansdatter born July 16, bapt. July 19, 1876 Hougseie, Gran.

Hello Debi.Hans Johannesen, born Dec.11.1846 at Hornseiet in Land,( North of Hadeland). Father: Johannes Hansen, married Anne Gudbrandsdatter, born April 23.1848 at Svendsrud in Brandbu. Her parents: Gudbrand Gudbrandsen, born 1818 and Kari Jensdatter, ( Johnsdatter?) born 1819.Hans and Anne had two childen born in Hadeland, Karen, born Mar.22.1872 and Olave, born July 16.1876. Thanks Ole, I will check out the Hadelandlag. I was just at the 7 lag Stevne in Winona, Minnesota a couple of days ago. They had people from the Hadeland lag, but I was so busy checking on the Toten lag that my gg grandfather was from, that I didn't even notice the Handeland lag, until it was too late and I had to go.
