My greatgrandmother Mitilda Indiana Abrahamsdatter came to America with her parents in 1870. She was the child of Abraham Johnsen and Cathrine. They are shown in the 1865 census living on Braaten Søndre. I am trying to trace he history of this family.The LDS says the church records of Eidsvoll burned.Also does anyone have knowledge of this family after they came to America. I cannot find this family together as a unit in the 1880 US census or the 1881 census of Canada.She married Zacarias Lorents Thomasen of Svelvik Vestfold in Milwaukee Wisconsin on January 8 1877. He used the name Lawrence Zachariah Thompson when they moved to Spicer Minnesota in 1882.She died in Minneapolis in 1940.
