The marriage record on Digitalarkivet shows Tor Torsson married Kari Toresdtr on 25 sep 1680. Kari was the daughter of Tore (son of Peder Ormsson) at Hybbestad Nordre. Was Tor d. 1687 aged 33 the son of Tor (son of Oluf Ormsson) at Hybbestad Nordre.?Does the the kirkebok show a christening date for Tor or Kari?

The churchbooks of Tjølling don't start early enough to give christening-dates for the persons you are looking for. Although there are marriages and burials from 1670, christenings don't start until 1682 (due to some missing pages).--Was Tor d. 1687 aged 33 the son of Tor (son of Oluf Ormsson) at Hybbestad Nordre.?--As we don't know anything about Tor, the (probable) son of Oluf Ormsson, except that he owned a part in Eftang Øvre, it's impossible to give an answer to this question, neither positive nor negative,

Is someone able to translate this passage for me please. Ok - here it is (I think you will understand):Isak lived as owner at Bergan Øv., but used his mothers part for some years before he got the leasing after a compromise with captain Tarum. He had to pay for buildings and field, and pay 5 t. pr year in tax. Got the leasing here in 1817.Captain Tarum used 2/3 of Hybbestad n. from 1820, and Isak Hansen had 1/3, first by leasing, later as a lessee under Tarum. About 1820 the preast Stephansen wrote about Hybbestad N that the farm earlier had a lot of forest, but that this was ”destroyed” by much wood-chopping for coal by the time that Turum had the farm. From old time, the farm had a yearly duty to the preast: Driving out on the fields the manure of the creatures 1 horse ½ day, plow with 1 horse 1 ½ day, to load manure 1 day, help with the plow 1 day and cut the grass day. The three leasers shared the work. When Tarum dies in 1844 the captains house was empty, and the soil tilled under farm-part 3, where Gunhild Jacobsdtr sat as a widow. Untill 1856 Kristen Andersen … here as a leaser of the field. In 1857 Hybbestad N then was divided into three. Tarum’s two earlier parts was devided in two, and these parts is followed under br nr 1 and Isak Hansens part became br nr 3. L. Berg think that he is the son of the preast’s assistant Ole Reiarsson, Stålåker .. p’s assistant in Tjølling.
