[#30122] John Nilsen/Marie Jensen in Avaldsnæs parish?

John Nilsen was born June 5, 1910 in Brooklyn, America and was baptized September 1, 1912 in the parish of Avaldsnæs. His parents were John Nilsen (b. 1874) and Marie Jensen (b. 1875). His father was dead and his mother lived in Brooklyn.Witnesses: Elizabeth Lynghold, Haugesund, Janna Bendiksen Øgaard, Bendik Aslaksen Øgaard, Peder Andersen Vorre, and Knud Einarsen Vorre.It would appear that Marie Jensen Nilsen brought her child to baptism at Avaldsnæs, but I have not been able to find any census or immigration records that would link her, or her late husband, to that parish.I'd be grateful if someone could look for any other entries (birth, marriage, etc.) about this family elsewhere in the Avaldsnæs church book.Thanks, JK
