Foreldri hennar skal ha vore Amund og Gudve Torkildsen. Det vert fortalt at Inga var komi til Amerika for å vera hushaldar hjå Thomas, men det gjekk ikkje mange vekene før dei vart gifte!Eg har leitt etter opphavet til Inga, men utan å lukkast. Thanks a million, Jean, for your wonderful information. I did search the Bergen emigration records, but failed to spot her. Apparently we cannot always trust those ''quick search'' options...! Anyway, now I found her under the Kroken husmannsplass of the Sausjord farm in the Bygdebook!Since Thomas Ellefson's family is the one on which I focus, I don't need any further information about Inga's ancestors, but if you can verify her birthdate, Feb. 17, 1874, that would be great!
