The ship 'Ørnen' leaves Bergen on April 23rd 1868 with 414 passengers bound for Quebec. Among the 414 passengers are 180 people born in Kinsarvik. 'Our' Torbjørg Sjursdatter Aga is on the ship. The ship was built in 1856 in Bath, Maine, U.S.A. 'Ørnen' arrived in Quebec on June 6th 1868. [url="http://www.norwayheritage.com/p_list.asp?jo=1455>http://www.norwayheritage.com/p_list.asp?jo=1455On the captains passanger list Torbjørg Sjursdatter Aga has been named Torbjørg Larsdatter Aga - this is wrong. An error probably made by the captain. The ship 'Ørnen' sank at Anegada Reef near Anegada Island - British Virgin Islands - in 1879.http://www.blytmann.com/wrecks3.htm'ØRNEN, Barque, Norwegian, wrecked November 6, 1879, Captain S.
