helloDoes anyone know more about them and their family? I have no dates for them. They had a son John Nilsen Sveen 1760 Finnas Norway. John married Ingeborg Aanensdatter 1756, her parents are Aanen Frantzen 1720 Sveen and Mangela Evansen Yestvig? Does anyone know more about Mangela and her ancestry?Thanks

Eivind's father was Helge Eivindsson/Evensson Vestvik born ca 1667 Finaas, Bömlo and died 1711 Vestvik, Sveio.Ingeborg Olsdtr was Eivind's second wife. Mangela/Magnhild was called after his first wife, Magnhild Gunnarsdtr. He had at least three children with his first wife: Synneva (1713-1787), Helge (1715-1769) married to Anna Gotskalsdtr, Siri (1717-1769)He had at least 4 children with Ingeborg: Kari (1721-1738), Ole (1721-1721), Mangela/Magnhild (1722-), Ola (1727-1749).

hi again, i am directly related to this family they are my family on my great grandmother's ancestors about 8 generations ago. my ggm was gurine nilsine monsdatter, born 1857 in sveio. i still have lots of family in the sveio area, i am sure! it is nice to know there are more cousins out there. wish those grandkids a very special christmas from all of us! i have additional information on this side of the family, if there is something you are looking for. you may also email me directly at ryrysdad@att.net

My grandkids descend from Helge Eivindson Vestvik, Mangela's halfbrother.If my memory is right there are about 8 generations here too. They're still too young to care for ancestors, but I'll give them your wishes-:)All the best Kjellaug
