My friend is coming to Norway and would like to meet any descendants of Nils Halleseon Vinsand b. 1866 and lived on the Vinsand farm in 1900. My friend descends from Gudve Knutsdatter Vinsand b. 1817 who was married in 1843 to Styrik Olavson Hæve b. 1815 in Voss. They came to America in 1845 and lived their lives in Stoughton, Wisconsin. If you look in the norwegian 'White pages', it is telefonkatalogen.no you will find quite a number of people with the surname Vinsand living i Voss. There is also a man named Halle. Regards John
