I found this:Given name: Anna BirgittaFarm: Lillienskiold AalundFjelberg 415 A.a11a 1796-1801I can't find any farm by this name in Fjelberg...I would appreciate any information.Hilsen Patti

Lillienskiold is not a name on a place or a farm. It is the name of a family. The name was given to Hans Hansen Smidt, granted nobility May 26, 1676.Anna Birgitta belonged to this family, but her branch (Montagne) did not belong to the nobilty, as they descended through the daughter of Hans Hansen Smidt.

Thank you, Yngve!Although Anna's probate was recorded 1796-1801, I found her burial record in 28 June/July(?) 1808 in Fjelberg. It shows only her name, and not her residence. I believe it was Kjellasvik in Ølen. Can you confirm that? Also, can you tell me on what farm she was born?It would be a great help...Hilsen Patti

Yngve, I searched some more after reading your post about Anna Birgitte. On FamilySearch, I found this:Anna Birgitta Lillienskiold, b 1722 Bergen, daughter of Peter Lillienskiold & Dorothea Bagger.Peter Lillienskiold, b 1676 Bergen, son of Hans Lillienskiold & Marie Lena Lem.Hans Lillienskiold, b 1650 Bergen, son of Hans Hansen Smidt Lillienskiold & Margrethe Jonasson.I know FamilySearch is not always accurate, so I wonder about this information... But if I am reading this correctly, that makes Anna descendant from Hans Hansen Smidt through the male line. Could this be right?I would appreciate your feedback...Hilsen Patti

Yes, there's something about that in Dansk 'Adelslexikon, Bind X':'I 1693 var det blevet ham tilladt at bo ved Bergen, i det han nemlig der i Stiftet ejede Gaardene Hop og Sletten og var Medejer i Giske'[in 1693 he (Hans Hansen) was allowed to live near/in Bergen as he owned the farms Hope and Sletten in that parish (district) and also owned a part of Giske]
