Date Aug. 8, 1770, two sons: Halstein, living at Møchlevold, and Arne, age 34, and three daughters: Ingeborg, married to Tierrand Berge, Marithe, married to Jens Wihofde and Anne, married to Anphind Biørgen. There is mention of the probate of Anna Halstensdatter June 9, 1767.

Thank you Yngve!What is your opinion of Johannes's surname? I have seen him listed Arnesen, Aandsen, Aanondsen, and Aanersen. In 1701, I found him at Rafnesberg, the son of Anond.Also, I am confused about Johannes's son, 'Arne' (b. 1734 at Bjørgen). I found Aand Johannesen Bjørgen, who married Barbro Sjursdatter in 1769. And a death record, in 1792, that shows him as Aadne. I'm relatively sure these are all the same person.What do you think??Hilsen Patti Mikkelsen
