Hi.I am wondering, are there any searchable online news archives in Minnesota ?A very old lady, Valgjer Svien (née Nystuen) emigrated from Vang i Valdres in 1846 and died 23 jan 1953, 3 months after her 110th anniversary 10 oct 1952 (she was born on 10 oct 1842 according to church book recordings)She lived in Northfield, Rice Co., MinnesotaI would be happy to obtain more info on her.

You could contact the Rice County Minnesota Historical society about it.
