Fire søsken reiste fra Torpa i Nordre Land, til Amerika.Den første som reiste var Gunda Christensdatter, født 20.09.1851. Hun dro over i 1874, og foreldrene var Christen Olsen og Olava Halvorsdatter Flattum :[url="http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=5&filnamn=emikra1&gardpostnr=12333&merk=12333#ovre>LenkeDe neste som reiste over var Johan Anton Andreassen f. 05.11.1856 og Kristianna Andreasdatter f. 14.08.1854. Disse dro i 1879 :LenkeDen siste som dro var Olaf Andreassen f. 23.09.1859. Han dro i 1881.

Hi Darin, I have also found that, and I think they lived in Pleasant, Wright co, in 1910. Andrew, Julia G (Gunda), Elmer and Nellie.John A Anderson married to Ida O. lived in Pleasant, Wright co, in 1910. In 1920 they lived at the same place and in 1930 in Belmond, same county. I don`t think they had any children.Tordis

Thank you for this information, Tordis and Darin.I think those people you found in the 1880 census from Iowa must be the ones i´m searching for.They had an older half-brother, Peter Christopherson, who emmigrated in 1887. He and his wife Pernille (Pennelia) settled in Oakland Township, Franklin County, Iowa. They lived there in 1910. I have no information about them after that.Peter and Pernille had a daughter, Pauline Marie. She was born in 1875, and moved to her parents in Iowa in 1900. She married Charles Cramer and they moved to Belmond, Wright County, Iowa in about 1915. They had several children.
