Anders Olai Risholm f. 1887, d. 1960 var en fisker som bodde i Fjell i Hordaland.Han reiste den 6. April 1907 fra Bergen til Helena, Montana for å tjene penger som jernbanearbeider, og reiste med skipet 'Cunard'.[url="http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=10&filnamn=EMIBERG&gardpostnr=60352&merk=60352#ovre>LenkeDen 23. Mars 1915 reiste han til Amerika igjen etter at han hadde vært på besøk i Bergen. Han bodde da i New York og jobbet som sementarbeider.

Ja det må være han du har funnet, takk for hjelpen. Faren hans het Mons, så det er derfor det står at han etterhvert blir kalt Olof Monson i 1926. Han ble også født 16.4 1887.Noen som finner ham i folketellingene (eller andre steder) også?

Risholm died Saturday, January 7, 2006, at her home in New City. She was 84. Mrs. Risholm was born April 11, 1921 in Hovik, Norway to Victor and Anna Andersen. She was the widow of Anders Risholm. She attended business school in Norway and immigrated to the United States after World War II, where she met and married Anders in 1948. Mrs. Risholm was a resident of New City since 1959, before that she lived in Brooklyn, NY. She was a founding member of the Nanuet Lutheran Brethren Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, a Deaconess and was active in the Ladies' Aid Society. Mrs. Risholm was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, and a friend to many. Margit was unusually energetic and a positive influence for us all. Survivors include her son Norman and his wife Gerd Torhild of Fevik, Norway; a son Robert of Nanuet; a daughter Ellen and her husband Matthias of Dortmund, Germany; two grandchildren Petter and Maria, and a sister Ragnhild. The wake will be Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home, 321 So. Main St., New City. The Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Saturday, at the Nanuet Lutheran Brethren Church, 107 Middletown Road in Nanuet. Burial follows in Germonds Cemetery in New City. MICHAEL J.
