Haedt, 81, of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at Trinity at Terrace Park Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf. Celebration of Life Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 14, at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. A memorial gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities or Trinity at Terrace Park Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.Mrs. Haedt was born June 16, 1925, in Duluth, Minn., to Hans and Miranda (Lindberg) Hovland. She married Harold Paul Haedt on December 8, 1945, in Duluth, Minn. They made Bettendorf their home since 1965. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Florence's pride and joy were her four sons. Her biggest joy came from watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their many activities. She loved to play golf with her friends and was an avid Hawkeye and Country music fan.
