HeiI have a photo of my great great grandfather taken by a photogapher of Cabinet portraiture. It is an early scene from Ibestad, Troms. Does anyone know how it might be possible to date the photograph - I understand that Cabinet Portraits - all the rage in the 19th century- followed particular styles and formats. I can send the photo to anyone who might help.Thankyou very much,Rob.

Scan the photo to jpg-format. Upload the photo from your computer by clicking the button 'Bla igjennom', find the jpg-file and upload.

Here is the photo of my great great grandfather he is second from the left .He died in 1913 so the photo must be prior to that. Any ideas?
