Hi !!If a family lived at a farm the whole duration of their life would they be buried there or somewhere else. My guess is they would be. Help me clarify this please.Kim

You were buried in a cemetery in the parish where you lived. Usually the closest cemetery to the farm.

In the death records there is 3 columns. The first the day he died /2nd day he/she buried. What is the 3rd column for. Thanks Kim

If the third column is a date for 'jordfestelse' it means that the priest was absent at the burial, and had the religous ceremony when he visited the church later on. Some remote churches did not have many visits of the priest during a year.
