[#71986] Question about an entry in the Stadsbygd parish register

Came across an entry listed thusly: Ole Johansen Solum i SkougdalenOther entries for the same person leave off the i Skougdalen.I can't tell if Skougdalen is a village or another farm.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Meg

I'm no expert when it comes to local geography in Trøndelag, but I suppose Ole Johansen was from the farm Solem in the Skaudalen area of Stadsbygd/Rissa. Skaudalen is the valley (dal) where the river Skaua flows, hence Skaudalen.Questions of this type should be posted in The User's forum.
