[#72730] Borge, Skoppum, Horten - Elevine Evensen

Recommended Posts

Guest Robert L. Evensen

I am trying to find out what happened to Elevine Evensen who was living at Borge, Skoppum, Horten in 1918 when her father Kristen Evensen died in Hakadal, Akershus. Can someone tell me if Borge is a farm in Horten? In the 1900 census she is living at Lystad, Aker with her sister Josefine Evensen. Josefine continues to live at Lystad after 1918, but Elevine has moved to Horten. I do not know if she ever married or had children. Your help is appreciated.Robert Evensen

HelloI would think that it means that Elevine lived in Skoppum in Borre, not Borge. Skoppum was situated in Borre parish. Borre is now a part of Horten. If you try to look in Borre parish register, there you will also find people from Skoppum (Borre/Borre).

Tusen takk Gunn and Egil! I will follow through on your suggestions. She may have lived past 1929 and thus there will be no record, but I will try.Robert
