[#73865] Family of Pernille Torsdatter of Øyestad Prestigjeld, Aust-Augder

I'm having trouble finding anything to point me towards Pernille's family. My ancestor Pernille was the 3rd wife of Terje Jensen of Bakken under Asdal in Øyestad Prestegjeld, Aust-Agder. She was apparently living in neighboring Bie Gardsnavn in 1801 but seems to be apart from her family. She married Terje 20 Feb 1802, but the marriage record does not seem to give any clue to her family or where she was born. She had 3 children, and I don't see much in their baptism records to help. Giertru (my ancestor) b. 28 Nov 1802 in Øyestad. Giertru Terjesdatter lived with foster parents in Evje after Pernille's death. Her foster mother was possibly Giertu's older half-sister. Tor Terjesen was b. 13 Apr 1806 in Øyestad. Terje Terjesen was b. 8 Apr 1810 in Øyestad. Their baptisms don't seem to give info on family either. Some of the witnesses may be relatives, but I have no proof of that. Some of the witnesses were from neighboring Seldal Gardsnavn. There are some other farm names that I don't recognize and can't find. Anyone that recognizes the family or can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

The name of the oldest girl in a family, is usually the name of the mothers mother. The name of Pernilles mother I probably GIERTRUD.Vegusdal is not far from Øyestad. A girl called PERNILLE was baptised here in in the beginning of 1765: Her parents: Thore and Giertrud Tvedt. Her father (Pernilles grand-father) must have been a man called ELLEV

Thank you so much! I knew she was confirmed in Evje, but I hadn't connected her to anyone there except I thought that her foster mother was probably her older half sister. I wasn't sure why she ended up in Evje, but it would make sense if her mother and brother were there.

In 1762, There is mention of her parents, Tore Gunderson Engesland and Giertrue Ellevsdtr Tvedt, in the Vegusdal Prestegjeld records on p. 232. Is this an introduction of them to the parish, or a marriage announcement? I don't understand what this record is. Can someone help? Thanks.
