Hi,sorry, but i could not write in norwegian language (i came from Germany). I search for some Informations about Reinert Sandberg or his descendants. I only know the adress of Mr. Sandberg in March 1936 (see attached screenshot). I am not sure, if this adress might be right, but i think that the real adress might be 'rådhusgatan 37', but i could not found this adress in Oslo. Maybe this adress exists before building the new city hall ?Any hints would be nice, thanks Roger

Yes, I`m sure that Rådhusgata (not Rådhusgatan) 36 was in Oslo 1936.It is still Rådhusgata in Oslo, but it looks like it have been changing with all new roads, look here: Lenke

Thanks Mariann,I have seen this, but I was in doubt, because the last numer in Rådhusgata seems to be the number 34. In the telefonbook of Oslo, the last adress is Rådhusgata 32. Maybe the number 36 was pulled down near 1936, because the building has blocked the view from the city hall to the harbour (seems to be a park now)? Does anybody know something about this ?Thanks, Roger

If you look at this map of Oslo from 1917 (then Christiania), [url="http://www.byarkivet.oslo.kommune.no/getfile.php/byarkivet>Lenke (BAR)/Internett (BAR)/Bilder/0002 MTE4NTE4MDYzNTEwMDU4OTczOD.jpg - you will see that the last number was either 32 or 34, there seems to hva been no 37, but this area was changed when new new city hall was built during and after the war.You should contact the kind people at Oslo City Archive. They may help you with city directories and city censuses (held each year) for the person/address in question. Here
