Recommended Posts

Olav Bonesmo

Min mangfoldige oldefar, Edvard Jonsen/Johnsen Gjølmesli, født 10.01. 1875 dro til Amerika en gang omkring århundreskiftet 1800/1900.

Kjente bosteder er: McGrath 1908/09

Fairbanks 1909/48

Iditarod 1910/11/12

Eureka 1914/15

Død i Seattle 1960.

I am looking for any information on an Edvard/Edward Johnsen born on the Gjolmesli group of farms in Orkdalen, Sor-Trondelag, Norway. On his 1918 draft registration he recorded his residence as Iditarod but the only Edward Johnsen or johnson I could find in the 1920 Federal Census was located in Bethel.

Takk for nye opplysninger Ann-Mary!
