Jeg håper noen med "tilgang" og mer ekspertise enn meg har anledning til å hjelpe litt til med følgende personer:

1. Ole Bernhard Antonsen Heggelund f.8.6.1884 i Stor-Elvdal, d. 4.11.1960 i Wisconsin. Har funnet han i Census 1940 som

enkemann bosatt i Beloit, men hadde også vært interessant med folketellingen 1910, 1920 og 1930 (han emigrerte i 1907) - og

en eventuell nekrolog.

2. Hans kone Olga Olsdtr. f. 14.8.85 i Stor-Elvdal, d. 1938/1939(?) i Wisconsin. Er det mulig å finne nøyaktig dødsdato?

3. Ole gifter seg på nytt i 1946 med enken Olga Fossum f. i Norge 1891, d. 1986 i Wisconsin. Skulle gjerne visst noe mer om henne.

Hvor hun kommer fra osv. Trolig ble hun gift etter at hun kom til Amerika.

4. Ole Heggelund JR. (sønn av av nr. 1 og 2) f. 3.11.1911 i Wisconsin og d. samme sted 4.7.1881. Har muligens oversett noe, men

strever med å finne han i Census 1940 (bor i hvertfall ikke hos faren). Evt. nekrolog er også interessant.

Marie Heggelund, Brodhead (1910 - 2008)

Marie Heggelund, 98, of Brodhead, WI, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, in Collinwood Elderly Care, Brodhead. She was born on May 15, 1910, a daughter of Baltz and Marie Oertli Hoesly, in Gratiot, WI. Marie married Ole Heggelund Jr. on July 1, 1939; he predeceased her on July 4, 1981. Marie was employed by Freeman Shoe Company for 36 years, retiring on March 15, 1974. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church since 1936. Marie enjoyed playing cards, and in her younger years she enjoyed dancing at the WigWam. She was a Milwaukee Braves fan and enjoyed taking trips with her sisters to Milwaukee to watch the Braves play.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty (Charles) Puch of Vancouver, WA; two grandsons, Charles Puch and Mark Puch, both of Vancouver, WA; one great-granddaughter, Melissa Puch; seven nieces: Mabel (Robert) Phillips of Janesville, Signe (Kenton) Onsrud of Door County, WI, Marcia (Richard) McMullen of Columbus, WI, Carol Nenneman of Monroe, WI, Janet Franks of Marshfield, WI, Joyce Udelhoven of Brodhead, and Jolene (Roger) Schnabel of Evansville; nine nephews: Roger (Donna) Hoesly of Monroe, Clarence (Nancy) Hoesly of Ladysmith, WI, Kenneth (Charlyne) Hoesly of Brodhead, John Jr. (Janet) Hoesly of Brodhead, Tom (Roberta) Hoesly of Brodhead, E. J. (Joyce) Hoesly of Juda, WI, Fred (Sue) Hoesly of Janesville, Eugene Hoesly of Brodhead, and Merlyn Hoesly; several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Fred, John and Walter Hoesly; and two sisters, Amelia Olson and Ada Hoesly.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a. m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, in OUR SAVIOR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 749 Bluff Street, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Mary Froiland officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service in the CHURCH. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be given in Marie’s name to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice. 50th anniversary

Anniversary: Hoesly

Roger and Donna Hoesly, Monroe, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 14.

 

Hoesly and Donna Douglas were married on Nov. 14, 1959, at St. John's United Church of Christ.

 

They have a son, Dale (Tricia), and a daughter, Beth (Tom) Tautges, both of Monroe. They have four grandsons.

 

The couple will celebrate with a family dinner at a later date.
