I ein annan debatt (http://forum.arkivverket.no/topic/186440-usa-census-1940-finn-ikkje-familie/) er broren til Mons Samuelsson Haugen f. 7.11.1966 diskutert. Men eg skulle gjerne ha fått tak i etterkommere etter Mons også.

 

Mons S. Haugen døde i Seattle, WA 18.05.1966 og var gift (16.9.1920) med Anna Jorgine Andersen (30.7.1898-x.7.1983). Eg har funne at dei fekk 4 barn:

 

1) Morris A. Haugen (4.3.1921-30.12.1978) gm Marjorie J. Losett (18.8.1923-18.11.2007).

2) Ruth Helen Haugen (1923-27.1.1952) gm Newlon J Coffey (25.2.1919-10.2.2004).

3) Richard Frederick Haugen (12.6.1925-27.7.2011) gm Rosanne C Seydel (?-?).

4) Mary Jean Haugen (6.2.1929-23.4.2003) gm Richard H Cook (?-?).

 

- Kven er foreldra til Anna Jorgine Andersen?

- Har dei fire barna til Mons og Anna Jorgine etterkommere?

Mary Jean Cook

 

February, 06, 1929 - April, 23, 2003

 

Passed away peacefully at the Swedish Hospital on April 23, 2003 after a lengthy illness and courageous battle with cancer and pneumonia. She spent the last 15 months at home, under the care of her husband, Dick. They were married 52 years. She was born Mary Jean Haugen on February 6, 1929. A graduate of Seattle?s Cleveland High School, and the University of Washington in 1950. She was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority and an advisor there for several years; also an active member in a guild for Children?s Orthopedic, a member of the Daughters of Norway for over 50 years, and a longtime member with her husband, of the Sand Point Country Club. Mary Jean enjoyed traveling throughout the world, many vacations to Los Vegas and Reno, and active in a bowling league and bridge with many friends. She is survived by her husband; her son, Steve, and daughter-in-law, Linda; 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer and Andy; her brother Richard, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all whose lives she touched. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 1, 12:00PM; Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home Chapel 11111 Aurora Ave N. Seattle. Burial, Evergreen Memorial Park. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Sand Point Country Club, 8333 55th Ave. NE, Seattle, from 2:00PM-4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Medic 1 or Children?s Hospital.

Richard Frederick HAUGEN

Richard Frederick Haugen died at University of Washington Medical Center surrounded by close family and his loving wife of 33 years on July 27, 2011, he was 86 years old. He was born in Seattle on June 12, 1925 and lived on Beacon Hill. He attended Cleveland High school and served in the Navy after WWII. He graduated from UW with a Masters Degree and then taught High School for 5 years. Richard had spent his boyhood fishing with his father and in 1970, he decided to hire a boat builder, and built and launched the" RICHARD H. " He fished for salmon and tuna along the coasts of Washington and Oregon. Richard was active in the Washington Trollers Assoc. for many years and retired from fishing in 1997. He is survived by his wife Shirlee, son William Haugen of Dallas Texas, step daughter Kathleen Jubie and Alfred Jubie of Mukilteo WA, stepson, V. John Conwell of Seattle WA, granddaughter Avery Haugen of Dallas Texas, Grandsons, Alexander B. Jubie of Mukilteo Wa, Rory J. Conwell, Mackenzie S. Conwell and granddaughter Brenna D. Conwell all from Seattle WA. Please join us for a memorial service for Richard on August 4, 2011 at Phinney Ridge Luthern Church 7500 Greenwood Ave No, Seattle Wa 98103 at 2:00 p.m. Rememberaces can be made to Phinney Ridge Luthern Church.

Obituary

Marjorie J. HAUGEN Age 84. Passed away peacefully Nov. 18th surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris. She is survived by her 3 children, Anita (Bob) Angel, Debbie (Charlie) Bright, & Randi (Scott) Williams & grandchildren, Scott, Stacey, Jessica, Lindsey, Jenna, Kelsey, Kendra, Melissa, & Greg & great grandchild, Angelina. Additionally she is survived by sisters, Bernice Williams & Beverly Bladow & brother, Kenny Losett & numerous nephews and nieces. Marjorie’s compassion & unconditional love for her family will always be remembered. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
