Johan Holm and Fridrich Wilhelm Holm - the same person?

Hello,

 

I have been researching Johan Holm in Drøbak, Akershus and I have come to a confusing situation.

Note that before 1816, Drøbak was recorded in the Aas kirkebok.

 

 

Johan Holm and his wife Helvig Halvorsdatter had 5 children:

 

Jens Christian Johansen Holm

It becomes confusing when I found what I believe to be their marriage:

 

31 Mar 1811

Fridrich Wilhelm Holm og Enken Helvig Halvorsdatter (Helvig was previously married to Jens Sørensen who died in 1809)

The husband here is not named Johan, but Fridrich Wilhelm! This is the same name as their son who was born in 1823. How can this be?

 

 

I then found this record in the 1801 census in Christiansand:

 

Navn: Fridrich Wilhelm Holm

Alder: 42

Familiestilling: Logerende

Sivilstand: Givt først gang

Yrke: Comander skiersant hved wester regiment

Bosted: Østerbyen 3de Qvarter

Bydel: Rode No 1

Gårdens nr.: No 24

Upon further investigation, I looked at the original scanned image and saw that the name Johan was originally written, but the crossed out!  I could not find this person in the military records.

 

Is this the Johan Holm I am looking for?  Can anyone provide any further information that might help solve this mystery?
