Mons fødd ca 1821, og gift 2 gonger 1) med Kari Botolfsdtr. Byrkjeland og 2) Margrethe Trulsdtr. Lille Sleire. 11 barn, nokre døde små. Etter tradisjonen reiste nesten heile familien til Amerika. Problemet er at eg ikkje finn noko spor i emigrasjonslister.

Harley Emmett Daily, 96, passed away Dec. 24, 2012, after a brief illness, with family beside him. He was born May 6, 1916 on a homestead near the town of Akron, Colorado, to Harold Verma Daily and Lavina Bertha Mae (Vernon) Daily. As a young boy, he moved with his family to Brush, CO, where he attended public school and graduated from Brush High School. He worked part-time for Great Western Sugar and also for several businesses during the Great Depression, helping to support his family. He attended UNC in Greeley, CO, and the University of Colorado in Boulder. He put his education on hold, however, to serve as a staff sergeant in the 204th General Hospital in Hawaii and Guam during WW II. In 1946 he attended the Capitol School of Pharmacy and became licensed to practice pharmacy in Colorado and Nevada. While working at a pharmacy in Limon, CO, he met Miohne Bernice Halvorson, whom he married on June 5, 1949, in Limon, CO. Following his marriage, he and his wife moved to Denver, CO, where they owned the Save-A-Penny Pharmacy in 1950 and the Park Lane Pharmacy in 1952. They bought the W & T Pharmacy at 4th and Cleveland in Loveland in 1962, and moved from Denver in October of that year. They retired in 1978. Harley was a member of the Loveland chapter of Rotary International, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Orient Chapter of Eastern Star, No. 23. He enjoyed history, traveling, fishing, hunting, camping, little children, dogs and baby ducks, and being with family for picnics and reunions. He could also belt out an Irish ballad (in key) at a moment’s notice. A fair and honest man, he helped his family and friends as much as he could. He is survived by a son, Bruce Daily, Loveland; a daughter, Susan Daily, Loveland; a brother, Philip Daily and his wife Jeanette, Brighton, CO; two sisters, Hazel Kaiser, Greeley, CO; and Olive Orr, Kelso, WA.; several nieces and nephews, and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his wife, Miohne, his infant siblings Clifton and Mildred, his brothers, Henry and John Daily, his sisters-in-law, Mickey and Eva, his sister, Helen McCall, and his brothers-in-law, Charles McCall, Melvin Kaiser, and Robert Orr. A service will be held at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. Wed, Jan. 2, 2013. Inurnment will be in Loveland Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the House of Neighborly Service, or to the Loveland Food Bank, in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
