The Old Site vs This New

The new website is a complete enigma to me. It is certainly NOT intuitive.   I cannot even find many things I already found using the old site.  What, for example, happened to the pages for people who died and were buried in Vestre Slidre?  It seems to have vanished. The pages for people travelling to Hull have also disappeared? Also, if I search for names I already KNOW are there, it comes up "blank"?  Can somebody explain what these computer guys were thinking when they redid the whole website? What were they thinking, and how? Ikke vet jeg!
