Mor til desse var frå Djupevik i Fresvik, fødd ca 1865. Ho var over 90 år i 1956. Gift Korsrud. Budde i Decorah Iowa. Eg finn i ættesoga frå Fresvik Gjørid Pedersdtr Djupevik (Julia) utvandra i 1862 til Iowa. Også ei søster Ingrid fødd 1858. Dette er dei to aktuelle eg kan finna.

The Rev. Walter W. Korsrud, 89, a resident of Hillview Health Care Center, died Friday, July 1, 1994. He was born July 10, 1904, at Decorah, Iowa, to Ole and Julia (Dybvig) Korsrud. He was a graduate of Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, and Luther Theological Seminary, St. Paul, Minn. He married Myrtle Stokke on Aug. 17, 1949, at Rice Lake, Wis. He served as a Lutheran pastor for over 30 years in rural parishes in Montana and Wisconsin.

In addition to his wife, Myrtle, he is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Tim) Dobrovolny of South Lake, Texas; and three granddaughters, Lindsay, Christina and Katherine Dobrovolny, all of South Lake, Texas. He was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers and a grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Vernon Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services Wednesday in the church. Dickinson Family Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
