På vegne av en etterkommer har jeg forsøkt å finne Brinks skjebne etter utvandringen til USA. Uten hell. Han ble født i Langesund (Telemark):  https://media.digitalarkivet.no/kb20051004010011

Han gifter seg i Langesund i 1916. Får en datter og blir enkemann i 1918.

Ankomst Ellis Island: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JNQP-H3V Bestemmelsested er overstrøket. Personen innført over Brink, Daniel Edv. Fjeldberg, er Brinks svoger.

Brinks mor dør i 1946. I dødsfallprotokollen står det «utvandret til Amerika. Adresse ukjent».

Jeg har lett etter Brink i folketellingene i USA 1930 og 1940. I 1930 finner jeg ingen passende kandidater. I 1940 er den en B. Knudsen i Los Angeles: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K9ZK-BD4 Men det behøver ikke å være rett person.

Etterkommerne har hørt at han bodde på Long Island og var gift med en dame fra Fredrikstad. Men dette er usikre opplysninger.
