Peter (Petter) Iversen (most likely your great grandfather) lived at Jæderensgate 7 in the 1910 census. I find him at the same address in local census' until 1916.

Most likely he died in 1958;

This is probably his Obituary Notice;

Rogalands Avis (newspaper) 24th Ocober 1958 - "Our dear and kind uncle, Machinist Petter Iversen, died quietly today, close to 73 years of age - (he was born 4th November 1886) - Stavanger, 23rd October 1958."

I also found him in the city directory for Stavanger 1948-49 (same address as mentioned in previous post) - http://www2.stavanger.kommune.no/Documents/Byarkiv/Stavanger byarkiv/Kategorier/Eiendom/Adressebøker/Stavanger adressekalender og Rogaland industri 1948-49.pdf

Since many of the ancestors I am tracing came from Ølen, I actually have the so-called Bygdebok (a detailed local history that traces the genealogy of all residents of a given parish) for Ølen.

From Anders Haugland, Ølen: Gard og Ætt (Ølen: 2001), vol. 1B, pp. 74-75 (my translation): "Torkjel Olsson, c. 1826-1911, came from Rollag in Numedalen, and went by the name 'Torkjel Numedøl'. He is supposed to have come here as a bag-guy ["skreppekar" - not sure I have translated this correctly], that is, someone with merchandise [to peddle] in his bag. He settled here at [the place in Ølen called] Mula in 1852 or 1853, and made his living from fishing and occasional labor. In May 1850 he married Kristi Johannesdatter Stongaland [i.e., from the farm Stongaland or Stangeland in Ølen], 1819-1911. They had five children, the first two born at Klungland [another farm in Ølen] and Stongaland:

(a) Jorunn, born 1849, married Nils Tjerandsson Fitja from Etne [a neighboring municipality]

(b) Siri, born 1851, moved to Stavanger 1873

(c) Oline, born 1854, married in Stavanger 1875 to Martin Jørgensson Tastad

(d) Ola, born 1857, died as a sailor in Rio [de Janeiro] summer 1890

(e) Marta, born 1860, traveled to Stavanger 1884, married Vilhelm Mikalsen"

Not sure whether this is of interest to you, but (at least according to various of the Bygdeboka) Kristi Johannesdatter's ancestry can be traced in the male line back to someone who died around 1653:

Kristi's father: Jone Torbjørnsson Stongaland (1797-1875) - married Siri Johannesdtr. Ulvanes (1787-1850) in 1818; they had 7 children, of whom Kristi was the oldest (Haugland, Ølen: Gard og Ætt, vol. 1A, p. 110)

Jone's father: Torbjørn Jonsson Stødle (born 1763) - born in Etne parish, moved to Dørheim in Ølen  with his widowed mother in 1768, later married Marta Hansdtr Haugen (1759-1831) and moved to Stongaland in 1795 (Haugland, Ølen: Gard og Ætt, vol. 1A, p. 109)

Torbjørn father: Jon Torbjørnsson Austrheim (c. 1703-1766) - born at Austrheim farm in Etne parish, moved to neighboring Stødle farm in 1733. After his first wife died in 1756, he remarried to Kristi Olsdotter (c. 1731-1795) (Ståle Dyrvik, Etnesoga, vol. 2, p. 325)

Jon's father: Torbjørn Larsson Vad (1662-1733) - born at Vad farm, inherited part of Austrheim farm in 1695 and acquired more in 1705 and 1721. Married a Siri Torbjørnsdatter from Skjold (Dyrvik, Etnesoga, vol. 2, p. 337)

Torbjørn's father: Lars Torbjørnsson Austrheim (1635-c. 1695) - born at Austrheim farm, moved to neighboring Vad farm (Dyrvik, Etnesoga, vol. 2, p. 344)

Lars's father: Torbjørn Nilsson (died c. 1653) - died owning part of Austrheim farm (Dyrvik, Etnesoga, vol. 2, p. 336)
