Hei Vidar:

Please forgive me for replying in English.

Until 1881 addresses in Bergen were given by Rode og Hus. Thus, the address in 1875 (where Theodore Nielsen lived with his wife Helene Sofie, his parents Martin and Gertrude, and his siblings) was Rode 1, Hus 23. This in 1887 became Bækketomten 1 (now Bekketomten 1 in 5004 Bergen). See the entry in the very elaborate historical Geographical Information System for Bergen: http://bergis.uib.no/adr21/adresse.php?target=frame&lag=1888&adr1=1&adr2=23

Before their marriage, in 1865 Helene Sofie Bendixen lived at 19-50, which is now Lille Øvregaten 32 in 5018 Bergen (http://bergis.uib.no/adr21/adresse.php?target=frame&lag=1888&adr1=19&adr2=50), and Theodor Nielsen lived at 21-40, which is now Lille Øvregaten 11 (http://bergis.uib.no/adr21/adresse.php?target=frame&lag=1888&adr1=21&adr2=40).

Hei

Trenger tydehjelp på vielse 5 i Korskirken i Bergen https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/8344/41127/86 Bendixen og Gabrielsen. Tittler adresser og forlovere..

Hva står det under Ole Bendixen? Kjerlaug...

Ser Ole Bendixen som knappestøber her: http://da3.arkivverket.no/cgi-win/WebBok.exe?slag=lesside... og Borgere i Bergen
Christian Gabrielsen som Bondehandler 13 november 1810
http://da3.arkivverket.no/cgi-win/WebBok.exe?slag=lesside...

Stemmer dette med titlene under vielsen?

Hei Vidar:

I know you haven't asked this yet, but here is what I have found on Ole Bendixen Kjerlaug/Kierlaug:

Marriage to widow Susane Agnete Kofod, 12 April 1812, occupation given as "jæger": https://www.digitalarkivet.no/view/327/pv00000000434453

First time as father on 1 January 1813, occupation given as "jæger": https://www.digitalarkivet.no/view/255/pd00000009211610

In 1815 census for Bergen, with wife and 5 children/step-children, occupation given as "militær": https://www.digitalarkivet.no/census/person/pf01051079003632

Child's baptism on 27 March 1823, occupation given as "knappestøber": https://www.digitalarkivet.no/view/255/pd00000007316474

Death of Ole Bendixen, knappestøber, on 15 September 1852, age 68 (thus born c. 1784): https://www.digitalarkivet.no/view/267/pg00000000688689

Ole Bendixsen, born 1784, living at Kiørlaug in Hafslo, Sogn og Fjordane, in 1801 census: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/census/person/pf01058397001141

Baptism of Ole on 21 November 1784 in Hafslo (mother is same as widow in 1801 census): https://www.digitalarkivet.no/view/255/pd00000004578235

Thus, the Kjerlaug stands for Kjørlaug farm in Indre Hafslo, where he lived before joining the army in the early 1800s.
