Järnvägen från Norge invigd 1867 Norskt beslut att bygga järnväg från Oslo (Kristiania) till riksgränsen vid Charlottenberg togs redan 1857. Arbetet började 1863 och den 4 november 1865 kunde bandelen OsloRiksgränsen-Charlottenberg tas i bruk.1 Stakningen av linjen Charlottenberg-Arvika inleddes sommaren 1864.

Hej!

Något som vi funderar på är att det sägs att två av barnen dog under resan till Amerika

Finns det några uppgifter på detta, tillex. när dom kom iland antecknas vilka i familjen

som steg av båten, och hur togs dom döda omhand under resan

Många frågor, hoppas på svar.
