Vefsn Birth record 1799

Daniel Andreas: For: Niels Ols: Agnes, Moder Død Fad: Jacob Jons: Nyeland, Niels Ingebrigts-

sen aanes Jon Ingebrigts. ibid: Elen Nielsdatter ibid: Siri Andersdatter marchen. –

With some caution: It can appear that Agnes, the mother, is dead. «Agnes, Moder Død». I might be reading this wrong.

Regards

Tusen Takk

In the Census of 1801

https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01058469001983

Niels is there, there is a daughter Agnis, and the wife Berit Martha Nielsdatter is Niels 2nd wife.  I suppose I need to find their marriage record to see if the time frames match.

Thanks again for your most appreciated help.

The ministerialbook from these years normally has the name of the child, the title and full name of the father, his adress, ditto for the mother, and then the godparents.

Here we can read:

Daniel Andreas: For: Niels Ols: Aanes, Moder Død Fad: Jacob Jons: Nyeland, Niels Ingebrigts-

sen aanes Jon Ingebrigts. ibid: Elen Nielsdatter ibid: Siri Andersdatter marchen. –

Aanes (Ånes) is a farm in Vefsn (gnr., 129). In these days we are publishing the Bygdebok with gnr. 84, 85, 110-137.

Under gnr 129/1 we have written:

2. Elen Maria (1782-1807), brukarkone i Kalvmoneset, s.d.

4. Kristoffer (1786-1881) vart brukar i Herringbotnet, s.d.

5. Agnes (1789-1843), gift 1822 med Ola Mikal Olsson (1793-1844), Langmoen.

6. Marit (1791-?).

7. Anders (1794-d. liten).

Tusen Takk.

Do we know what is meant by Moder Død in this record?

This is significant because Krisoffer's son Niels married Daniels datter Berith.  I had different parents for Daniel in my records.

In our records we find that Nils Mikal Kristofferson (1817-1912), son of Kristoffer Nilsson (1786-1881), was married (2. time) in 1857 to Berit Danielsdtr (1828-1902), daughter of Daniel Andreas Nilsson (1799-1846).

In other words, Nils Mikal and Berit were cousins.

Thank you for all your help.  I do not find a death record for Dordi Andrea Jørgensdtr.
