Help Finding Farm Books for Sale

I have been searching all over online for the farm books listed below. I have searched English translations and left it in Norwegian and have not had any luck. I think the fact that I am searching from the United States is limiting what I see for sale in Norway or other countries outside the U.S.

 

I really would love to find these for Christmas and have copies (even in Norwegian... google translate is amazing these days)

1. Åfjord og Jøssund gårdshistorie 1500-1875. Bind I-II. Trondheim 1956 ( I think this is two farm books in one? but i do know there are two volumes)

2. Bjørnørfolket : gårds- og slektshistorie for Bjørnør. 3 1 : Roan

I Thank you for the link to the volume 1. I have the links to the other books to view online (as long as i use a VPN and set my location at Norway). But I would love to purchase all the books that have my families lineage in it, nonetheless.

Yoy may place an add on www.finn.no (a norwegian equivalent of Craigslist) under the heading "ønskes kjøpt" (want to buy) asking if anyone have these books for sale. This is free of charge.

 

Go to www.finn.no (you will need to register)

Choose "ny annonse" (new add)

Select "torget" (market place)

Select "privat" (private"

Select, in the menu, "kjøpe" (buy) and fill out the form.

I got a response from Åfjord Municipality - postmottak@afjord.kommune.no

They said they only sell the book in Norway and do not send it abroad.

 

I was wondering if anyone on here could see how much they charge for the book and would be willing for me to transfer money (paypal, or some other means) to have you buy the book and ship to me in the United States?

Thank you Elin, I will have to get you the money at a later date as money is tight right now through Christmas. If you have time to contact the municipality and ask them the price of the book? This way I can plan for the expense and estimate cost of shipping. I expect I can get the money in early February.
