Dette er ein huslyd som eg jobba mykje med på 1980-talet, og eg var godt nøgd med resultatet den gongen.

 

Men, tidi har springe frå oss, og eg ønskjer å oppdatera manuskriptet mitt frå den gongen.  Særleg er eg oppteken av lagnaden til yngste sonen Walter og kven desse konene til sonen Edward var?  Eg vonar nokon kan hjelpa meg?

Rannei Johannesdotter Næss, f. {i Luster} 25.11.1867,

Rose Ness utvandra til Amerika i 1885 og gifte seg i Lakota, N.D. 21.12.1891 med Louis Peter Norman.  Han hadde svenske foreldre, men var sjølv f. i Dakota Co., Minn. 28.9.1869.  Louis Norman var snikkar («carpenter»), og han og Rose busette seg i Jadis township, Roseau Co., Minn.  Rose vart sjuk kort etter hundreårsskiftet og d. i Fergus Falls, Minn. 17.2.1908.  Louis Norman farma so ei tid i Fielding, Sask., men flytte sidan til Lincoln, Lancaster Co., Neb. der han var smykkehandlar («jeweller»).

Han gifte seg 1.6.1932 att i Lincoln, Neb. med enkja Christine Catharine, kjend som Catharine Karlsdotter f. Hösch, opphavleg frå Fellbach i Württemberg, Tyskland, i Amerika kjend som Katie Hoesch.  Ho var dotter av Karl Wilhelm Johannesson Hösch og kona Elisabeth Catharine Jacobsdotter f. Schuhr og f. i Fellbach, Württemberg 19.4.1877, men utvandra til Amerika med foreldri sine i 1883.

b. Joseph Edward, kjend som Edward Norman, f. i Roseau Co., Minn. 16.4.1895, flytte med faren til Fielding, Sask. og sidan vidare til Lincoln, Neb. der han d. 4.12.1965.  Edward gifte seg første gongen i Lincoln, Neb.

Ruth Lillian, kjend som Lillian Norman, f. i Roseau Co., Minn. 10.8.1899, voks opp hjå Albert Adamson i Watson, Chippewa Co., Minn. og d. i Milan, Minn. 18.12.1964.  Ho gifte seg i Chippewa Co., Minn. 7.4.1920 med Selmer George Kittelson, f. i Chippewa Co., Minn. 1.9.1894.  Han d. i Milan, Minn. 19.12.1990.  Lillian og Selmer farma i Kragero township, Chippewa Co., Minn. og fekk sju born i lag.
