I am not too sure about reading any of the replies as I do not read or write Nowegian or Swedish but I have a chart on the Erik

Engelbretson family.  I know they moved from Sweden to Norway (close to Varmland in Sweden).  My gt. grandparents lived

on an adjacent farm named Sloreby; the Engelbretson family lived on the other Sloreby farm; if I am correct.  The note I have

about father Erik E. is that he died in 1923 at Swedish Hospital in St. Paul,  MN USA; was buried in Trembelle, WI in the Moeville

Cemetery.  Also that Mariane Andersdotter, his wife died in 1917.

I have a sheet of those buried in that cemetery but must hunt more for it.....I do think that Anna Charlotte is also buried there, also possibly Elise

(LIsa) and a brother, Johan Edvard 1869 - 2/11/1959.  Possibly buried at Bethel Covenant Church in Trembelle , Pierce County WI.

Karl Anton and Emma Matilda are buried in Hastings , MN (Dakota County).  Maria gm to Olaf Alfred Erikson -Sweden.  I have tried

to find what happened to  Anders Emil  (1866) but never have found the correct Anders. Nils Olai may have lived in Dakota County , too???

I have no idea if this pertains to your question but thought to send what may or may not be helpful.

The Original Poster seems to be mostly interested in the fate of Anna Charlottte, so if it is true that she is buried in Wisconsin that would be of considerable interest. However the information provided above by Grethe and Richard leans toward Anna Charlotte remaining in Norway. Any new information you could provide is likely to be useful.

Here is the FAG record for Erick Engelbretson. The FAG site shows two other family members also buried at Bethel Covenant Cemetery.
