Det er tydeleg Sjur Drege sin huslyd som er opplagt å følgja her.  Eg ser av dødsbodskapen etter Casper Drege at han mellom anna etterlet seg sin son Curtis Drege, og han synest bu i Lodi, CA den dag i dag...  Hjå ancestry finn eg eit family tree som handlar om denne huslyden - vil freista å skriva...

 

Elles ser eg at Earl Normann Drege døydde i Lodi, CA 2004, men dødsbodskapen hans finn eg ikkje...:

Earl Norman Drege, 84, of Lodi, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2004 in

his home after a brief illness. He was born on May 29, 1920 in Rugby, ND. Earl

was one of eight children of Sjur and Torborg Drege. Earl moved to Lodi at an

early age. In 1954 he began working for his brother-in-law, Ruben and Gertie

Bentz, of Associated Tractor in Stockton and worked there for approximately

20 years. Earl was a member of Lodi SIRS, an avid golfer at Micke Grove Golf

Course and loved to travel. He also enjoyed having dinners with his nieces and

nephews and their families. He also enjoyed meeting with his friends for morning

coffee daily. He was preceded in death by his parents, — brothers, Casper, Orville

and Sam Drege and — sisters, Gertie Bentz, Thelma Weigand and Lorraine Drege.

He is survived by one sister, Alpha Derr, of Lodi and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services Thursday, September 30, 2004

at 10:00 a.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation

hours Wednesday, 1:00-8:00 p.m. in the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way at Beckman Rd., Lodi. Memorial contributions to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton 95204 are preferred.
