[#8040] Nicolai Severin Sorensen

I am looking for information on Nicolai Severin Sorensen from Vest Agder, Kristiansand, Norway. He was born 1866 in that place. His parents were Soren Sorensen and Torborg Neilsdaughter. He left Norway for the USA in 1888 via Glasgow, Scotland. I would like to know if this family shows up in the 1875 census in the above named place. Thank you

You will find his parents in the 1865 census at Grebstad farm in Søgne parish. Søgne is close to Kristiansand. In addition to his parents you will find one brother Ole, 4 years and one sister Gurine, 6 years. The 1875 census for Søgne I think is not awailable yet. You will also find Nikolai S. Sørensen in Emigrants from Kristiansand 1873-1930. He left Kristiansand March 11th, 1888 for New York.
