Sorry for speaking English instead of your language. I know from internet browsing there are many ORDEMANNs in Norway. Where do they come from? ORDEMANNs come from Germany, from various locations between Bremen and Oldenburg and emigrated to USA, Australia, Netherlands, Norway, possibly elsewhere. Please help me complete the ancestor trees of the Ordemann families. Thanks, Nikolaus Ordemann

Today there is only one Ordemann with a registered telphone in Norway. If you are seraching the 1865 and 1900 census you will find Ordemans in Bergen, and in Bergen only. Searching the church registers of bergen you will find lots of information on Ordemans. The first was Fredrik. He was a merchant belonging to the Maria parish in Bergen, which was the church of the Hanse merchant.We also have a list of gesells (merchant's assistants). Here he is found, making his exams in 1810 click. As you can see he is the son of a farmer from Hannover, Hinrich.
