Looking for a person who arrived in Bergen coming from Buenos Aires, Argentina, on September/October 1914 Is there any way to search the passenger lists from de vessels arriving at Bergen on those days? Thank you Juan

The records telling the names on persons arriving in Bergen from abroad does not start till 1916. As World War I proceeded Norwegian authorities re-introduced demands for passports, which had been dropped in 1860.Did the person in question stay in Bergen for some time? If so, we could try to locate him in the archives from the local bureaux of vital statistics.

No, he didn't. He was traveling to Russia. He went from Bergen to Oslo and from there he took some other ship to Russia. Do you think could be passenger list of people living Oslo to Russia?
