Billett betalt i Amerika. Frode Aksnes

CENSUS DATES & OTHER INFORMATION1790-1820 - the first Monday in August.1830-1880 - 01 June. Precinct / enumeration district (ED) designations are in use from 1880. The 1880 census is Soundex-indexed only for households with children under the age of 11, however it is now indexed and searchable for free at FamilySearch.org.1890 - the first Monday in June. The 1890 was mostly destroyed by fire. Only 6,160 names survive. Ancestry.com is working on a reconstruction / substitute (not free).1900 - 01 June. The 1900 census has a Soundex index for all states.1910 - 15 April. The 1910 has a Soundex or Miracode index for 21 states: Alab., Ark., Calif., Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mich., Mississippi, Missouri, N.C., Ohio, Okla., Penn., S.C., Tenn., Texas, Virginia and W.V.1920 - 01 January. The 1920 census asked the year of arrival and status of every foreign-born person. It has a microfilmed index for each state and territory.1930 - 01 April. Soundex exists for the following states only: Alab., Ark., Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, N.C., S.C., Tenn., Virginia and parts of Kentucky and W.V. On Soundex coding and indexing, see [url="http://www.rootsweb.com/~rwguide/index.html>http://www.rootsweb.com/~rwguide/index.html - lesson 9. See also:
