[#16626] Flaa, Buskerud, Knud Aslesen Stavn and Bergit Olsdt Gislerud

Do the new Flaa bygdeboks include Stavn and Gislerud? I am especially interested in finding the ancestors of Knud Aslesen and his wife, Bergit Olsdtr. They appear to be listed in two places in the 1801 census under both the Stavn and Gislerud farm listings. Their ages vary slightly on the two listings but the children Bergit 23 and Ole 8 are the same. The daughter Bergit married Halvor Embrets Stavn. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

The first volums of the Flaa 'bygdebooks' do not include the farms you mention. The author began with the southern part of the district, and since he also research the neighbouring district Nes, it will, unfortunately, be some years intil he publish the northern part of Flaa (approx. 2005, I think)Looking forward to that volum myself, since I have ancestors from Stavn.

Does anyone know whether more volumes of the Flaa local history books have been published since 2003? How many volumes are now printed in the local bygdebok series about the neighboring area Nes? I have tried without success to find out whether these books have been finished. Thank you for any information about them.

No more volumes from Flaa have been published, as far as I know. I made an inquery about it this summer, and they didn't know when more volumes would be published.About Nes there are now 3 or 4 volumes, I think.
