When did Albert Nilson Norland emigrate to America? What boat did he leave on? What port would he have arrived at? Albert was born in 1858 at Norland gaard,Strand near Tau. We believe that he emigrated in 1880 or 1881, but could have been as early as 1879. Thank you for the help.

Nils and wife Rachel Pedersdatter lived a few years at the farm Ytre Moen under Hatleskog in Forsand parish and left for Amerika according the churchbook for Forsand in 1882 with 3 daughters .I am not good at making links , another way to find them ; Shoose Catogories, emigrants, Regisrer,emigrants from Stavanger 1825-1970, given name ; Rachel , she has the ref. nr 34628.
