im trying to find the death register for my gr gr grandfather and mother,he was Hans Peder Pederson,she was karoline Heggeland,both born in Fredrikshald(Haldane)and still alive in the 1900 census when at that time they lived in Onso.Hans was born around 1822 and Karoline 1827

Hi Harold,I wonder if these could be same people as your gr-gr-grandparents:FamilySearch: Caroline Elisabeth Heggeland born May 25th 1827, Fredrikshald, daughter of Ole Heggeland and Ellen Eriksdatter, died May 25th 1901.She married Oct 15th 1849 to Hans Petter Thorvaldsen, born 1824, son of Peder Thorvaldsen. There is no date for Hans Petter's death at FamilySearch. FamilySearch is not always reliable, and there could be a mix-up with Hans Petter's surname. Or, he could have used his father surname Thorvaldsen and not the patronym Pedersen.In any case something to be aware of in further searches.Heidi
