Aamund Colbeensen Vangsness married Kari Andersdatter on September 5, 1789 at the Sogne Fjord area near Vangsness. Can anyone tell me who his parents were and when they were born? Mange takk for all help.

I believe Colben Arnesen to be Aamunds father. [url="http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&filnamn=f11419&variabel=0&postnr=1816&fulle=true&spraak=n>Lenke In the 1801 Census you can see he is living as an widower at the Wangsness farm in Leikanger.Kolbel Arnesen married 17.02.1751 Sesilie (Cicille) Aamundsdtr.She was born at Eggum farm in Leikanger.And perheps this is the birth of your Aamund in 1758.

This could be the birth of Kari Andersdtr. Eitorn in 1767. Lenke As you see her parents where Anders Bottelsen and Anna Nielsdtr. They married 01.07.1754.He was from Eitorn and b.1724.She was b.1734 at Suphammer farm in Leikanger. Anders died at Eitorn 24.11.1782. Rune Thorstensen

Hi. At this time i have no further information about Colbel Arnesen.The 1801 census tells us that he was 75 years at the time.As to my posting nr.5.He was not a widower, he was married for the third time.Perhaps somebody with the bygdebook from Leikanger can give you more information.If I can find more information , I will post it here. I can`t confirm this information, but this could be the parents of Cecilie Aamundsdtr.No last name mentioned, but Aaumund came from Bøyum farm in Balestrand and Anne from Eggum farm in Leikanger. Lenke Rune T.
