Trying to determine the father of Julia Simensen whose mother was Sofie [sophia] Olsdatter [simensen] from Borolien nordre farm , Sør-Fron , Oppland. Born 26 Dec. 1885. Sofies parents were Ole Simensen & Marte Simensdatter , Borolien nordre farm according to 1865 & 1875 census. Emmigrated using name of Simensen to US from Oslo in June 1892, where name used was Borolien as well as Lien. Sofie born Sør-Fron in 1862.

Hello. Churchbook Soer-Fron Julia born 25.dec.1884, christening: 25 of may 1885. Father: Even Nilsen, living as a servant on Borolien farm,not married, born 1863 on farm:Underdalshaugen. Mother: Sofie Olsdatter, born and living at Borolien farm, not married, born 1861(She is born 1862 as you written)Godfather and godmothers: Morten Østensen, farmer at Flaate, Mathias Nilsen, servant at Underdalshaugen, Anne Olsdatter, Tofte, Berte Mortensdatter, farmers daughter at Flaate, Dina Nilsdatter Smalfarmersdaughter at Underdalshaugen. LenkeI hope the Link will work out for you!!I´ve been helping a man in Oslo just with this problem at Borolien farm, but that was in 1994 or 1995....he told me that this Even Nilsen was bought to say he was the father.
