I am currently translating farm information from sources which refer to half gard, full gard, fjordungs gard, osv. I would appreciate it if someone could direct me to a source, or inform me, of the meaning and relevance of these classifications. Answers in Norwegian ok, thanks Moira Bue

A full gard was paying full tax, a half gard payed half tax, a fjordungs gard payed a quarter. This difference was based on a coarse evaluation of the farms' production potential.
