[#36312] Seeking information on Ole Vraalsen and Helvine Haakensdtr Sandsvaer, Buskerud

I am trying to find when my ggrandparents died and where they are buried.Ole Vraalsen (Wraalsen) (b. October 16, 1857) married Helvine Jorgine Haakensdtr Skollenborg (b. April 28, 1853) on May 11, 1878 Sandsvaer,Buskerud. The 1900 census shows them in Kongsberg, Gatenavn is Sandsvaermoen. (I am not sure if that is a street name or a farm name.) It also shows children Helga, Edvard and Ingeborg. I am not sure what happened to Edvard or Ingeborg. They had another son, Haaken, who is married to Olava Torskensdtr Myhra and have a son Torstein in the 1900 census of Drammen. My grandfather, Wraal, is found in the 1900 census in Sandsvaer, Gard is Klokkerud. He immigrated in 1905 leaving everyone behind. His sister, Helga, followed him later.Any information concerning any of these people would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Your grandfather died in 1945 and was buried 03.March at Kongsberg Cemetary. He lived the last 10 years of his life in Bevergrenda, Kongsberg, near to his daughter Ingeborg and his son in law, Einar Gravningsmyhr. Hello Gry!What a wonderful surprise! :) I am so excited to have a distant relative in Norway!I have been able to trace ancestors back to Einar Vraalsen, our g-g-g-grandfather. I found Vraal and his sister Berte Marie along with siblings Anne Syrene, Lucia Maria, Klemet, Lisa Maria, and Maren Oline. I was not able to find out who they married or if they had children.I would like to get more information about Ole Vraalsen and his family. I found Ole had siblings Karen Eline, Einar, Anne Sofie, Karoline and Edvard. Karoline and Edvard immigrated to the USA in 1882 but I could not find them in any of the US census records. I would love to have any information you have on this family.Ole and Helvine had 2 other children; Edvard b. 1891 and Ingeborg b. 1894. I found Haken in the 1900 census for Drammen with wife Olava Torkensdtr Myhra and son Torstein. I could not find Inga and have no idea what happened to them or any of the family that remained in Norway.I am so glad you answered this inquiry. I have to admit it's been three years since I had this at my fingertips, so I have to check my sources:) I'm quite busy for a few days now, so don't worry if it takes some time. So I have played in their garden.... A big old white house with a large garden, appletrees,peartrees, lots of lovely flowers... The house is no longer in the family, my grandmother sold it about 1980. My grandfather, Vraal, homesteaded in North Dakota in the early 1900's. He later moved to Minnesota.
