[#37400] Help with kirkebøker for Brunlanes in Vestfold in1823.

In this extract from the christening in Brunlanes in 1823 I am particularly interested in the name of the child’s mother.mvh Vidar

Here is the same extract, but from klokkerboka. I can not get the mother's first name to be the same. Also klokkeren has the same first name for both mother and child. A copy mistake by klokkeren?Mvh Vidar

Jeg er enig med deg, Vidar. I klokkerboka leser jeg 'Hans Hansen, Anne Kirstine Gulliksd, Helleraaen'. I kirkeboka leser 'Hans Hansen og Inger ...... Gulliksd fra Hill....'. Kirkeboka fra Brunlanes for denne perioden er forresten en av de vanskeligste jeg har vært borti.Kan det være mulig å avgjøre hva som er rett ved å lete etter vielsen, eller dåp for eventuelt andre barn av samme foreldre?

Thanks Kristian. That was my reading also. I got a couple of potential brothers to Anne Kristine, but I have not got any scans yet. It will take me a couple of days to organise.I have found neither of the two Hansdatters however which were godmothers to Anne Kristine Hansdatter's first child. But then the minister's handwriting is not the best I have seen.Will come back to this.Mvh Vidar

Kristian I have been unable to get any good scanned images from kirkebøkene for Brunlanes in 1820s and 30s., but a visual search found no marriage between a Hans Hansen and an Anne Kristine Gullecksdatter.However there were four different sets of parents where the father’s name was Hans Hansen which included one where the mother’s name was Inger Gullicksdatter. This fitted even better as at the christening of these parents child in early 1830 they were recorded as living on Holhjem, the same farm which Anne Kristine Hansdatter lived when she had her first child in 1849 (christen in Stavern).Thus even if we cannot be absolute certain, it is most likely that these are the parents of Anne Kristine Hansdatter. It also appears that they got married in Berg Church in Brunlanes. From the ministerial records for Brunlanes in 1821 I have the following image;This is the best image obtainable from either the ministerial or the klokkerbok, even then it has been through a photo editor for enhancement.My reading is (using a high-powered microfiche reader); Ungk Hans Hansen from ??? 26 aar Pige Inger ???? Gulliksdt from ???? 28 aar, Feb 9Can anybody suggest anything else, or even read the impossible?Mvh Vidar
